A Catechetical Guide to Gather Faithfully Together
Based on the Pastoral Letter of Cardinal Roger Mahony
When people know, love and celebrate their parish liturgy well, they transform themselves, their parish, the church and the world. This is the goal of Cardinal Roger Mahonys pastoral letter, Gather Faithfully Together: A Guide for Sunday Mass. Living the Good News developed this six-session resource in cooperation with the Religious Education office of the Archdiocese of Los Angeles to help people of all ages grow in their knowledge of the Mass and in their ability to participate more fully in the Sunday liturgy.

Leader Guide
Each Leader Guide includes catechist preparation about the Mass, six complete session plans with session overviews, goals, materials lists and suggestions for age-appropriate activities to keep participants actively involved.

Each set of 6 full-color Participant Papers coordinates with the 6 sessions and offers age-appropriate activities designed to extend the learning from the session into the home. The Participant Papers encourage further reflection and invite discussion in each household. These take-home materials are also ideal for people who may not be able to attend the sessions but still want to deepen their appreciation of the Mass.
